Welder / Fabricator Role
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and capable welder/fabricator to join our local workshop for Offsider Agricultural Equipment. This is a hands-on, full hours role suited to both new welders wanting to learn the ropes or an experienced hand looking for a solid crew and good hours.
About the Role:
You’ll be working in a small, skilled team where you’ll get your hands on a variety of tasks including:
* Welding and fabrication from drawings
* Laying out jigs, tack welding and assembling
* Cutting, grinding and cleaning metal
* Operating machines, hand tools and forklifts
* Final checks, paperwork and packaging
We’re after someone who:
* Can read and follow workshop plans
* Has previous welding/fabrication experience
* Shows initiative and takes pride in their work
* Is happy to pitch in, stay flexible and learn new tasks
* Has a forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
